Under the name of NOWlab@BigRep, Jörg Petri and Daniel Büning are responsible for innovation in materials and applied research to develop cross-sector customized applications at the Berlin based tech start-up. Daniel received a Masters Degree in Architecture (with Distinction) from MSA Muenster School of Architecture, and completed a year in the M-Arch Program at PRATT Institute, NY. He worked as a Research Assistant at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Institute for Media and Design. Since 2012 Daniel is a Ph.D. Fellow at the University of the Arts Berlin, Department for Experimental and Digital Design.

In 1995, Jörg Spindler began his career in production planning for car body construction at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt. In 2001 he took up his first management position as Head of Project Management in Neckarsulm. In 2010, he was appointed head and site coordinator for the Neckarsulm Toolmaking Division. Since 2017, he has been the head of the Competence Center Plant Engineering and Forming Technology.
