Philipp Frank got a PhD in Mathematics and has been working a the R&D Department of Volkswagen Osnabrück since 2012. Besides designing the crash sensor setup via simulation, he works on 3D-printing applications and optimization problems.

André Heinrichs started his career at Volkswagen as a participant of the integrated degree program, where he acquired next to the qualifications of a design draftsman also a degree in mechanical engineering. Since 2014, as a member of the technical development department André Heinrichs managed several projects in the field of additive manufacturing.

His last position there was Head of International Procurement Services / Consulting & Engineering at Daimler AG. Today Professor Bräkling is also managing partner of PIP - Power in Procurement GmbH and of counsel of the international patent law firm Schneiders & Behrendt.
